The discussion began with Ambassador Michigami stating that he was honored to be serving in the Federated States of Micronesia as an ambassador and highlighted some details of his career experiences particularly as a diplomat spanning nearly 30 years with assignments in the United States, Sweden, Korea & China, 15 of those years in Korea and China alone. Vice Speaker Moses reciprocated in stating that he’s had extensive engagements with the Embassy of Japan, prior to becoming a congressman, being employed with several banks including the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
